QUEMASANTOS title track video is out!

NY based band Quemasantos have released its second music video promoting its latest album. This is the music video for the title track of the debut album of the band Quemasantos, released early this year via Digmetalworld and now distributed worldwide via MVD Distribution.

'An intimate and dark piece that subtly appeals to ancestral horrors'.

Drummer Ignacio Orellana have commented:

'We wanted to say goodbye to this year with a small video for our acoustic track which is a departure from our hard hitting sound. Here we wanted to explore the classic acoustic instrumental sound of the guitar of those thrash metal tracks of the 80's and have it accompanied with images of a rainy night  in the city. We felt that as a band we were influenced by them sounds and we just wanted to make sure we have something to remember those marvelous years of thrash metal.'

Guitarist Regisson 'Reggie' Silva commented:

'Sometimes we all have some kind of deep and dark feelings inside. Those moments you can't find any sense, you lose your hope, your dreams. We all have this and from time to time it comes out again.

It was in one of these moments I decided to put it out in a song. Some deep and sad arpeggios in a minor chord came up and could translate a little bit of what i was feeling. If you can't put your bad feelings in a bunch of chords, you should at least to take a listen to this and try to spit out all this shit, or it will poisoning you from inside out.'

The video was produced by Promusicvideo, and contains images of Regisson Silva performing the track along with Sr. Diaz and Ignacio Orellana around the city.

The album was produced by Ignacio Orellana at Oily Sound Studios NYC. Quemasantos is a band that produces thrash metal music in Spanish and it members work out of Brazil, Chile and New York City respectively.

CONDENADOS presenta el video "Jinete Ácido"

El proyecto de Rock Pesado de los 70's y el Proto Heavy Metal, fue fundado como un power trío por Fernando Vidal el año 2005, siendo actualmente una nueva propuesta con Fernando en voces y guitarra y Matias Moreno en bajo y bateria.

El track fue grabado y mezclado por Matias Moreno en Estudio del Diablo. Masterizado por Benjamín Guerra en Souvenir Studios y la caratula diseñada porThe Comtesse.

El video fue producido por Matías Moreno y editado por Matías Moreno, Fernando Vivanco.

En cuanto a las letras, expresan que decidieron dar un paso más adelante y volverse mucho más directos y explícitos, sin dejar de lado la influencia del Sendero de La Mano Izquierda, con un mensaje más certero, y en sintonía con el sonido que también va en esa dirección.

"Particularmente las letras están inspiradas en nuestras vivencias del día a día y en nuestras convicciones espirituales y políticas, con la intención de ser pesados no solo en lo musical, sino también en el mensaje que queremos transmitir. Buscamos generar un shock de energía oscura, una llamarada interna que impulse a quienes escuchen Condenados a volverse implacables, apelando a lo más profundo del instinto animal y también a la plena conciencia de la existencia, la certeza de la muerte. También hay alusiones a símbolos que nos representan tales como Baphomet, Lucifer, Caín, La Serpiente antigua, etc, todos símbolos que llevan a la rebelión absoluta contra lo establecido", comenta Condenados.

El videoclip de Jinete Ácido es totalmente autoproducido y contó con la ayuda de un equipo profesional conformado plenamente por amigos de larga data del dúo y fue grabado en Casa de Salud (Concepción) en un solo día. La idea era realizar un videoclip que refleje la esencia de Condenados en vivo y de paso, mostrar el nuevo setup, que al mismo tiempo fuera acorde al mensaje satánico que entregan al público. Matias comenta: "Este video está hecho para quienes tengan sus gustos enraizados en Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Pentagram (USA), Pappo Blues, Mazo, entre muchas otras bandas que nos influencian tanto en lo visual como en lo musical"

Para el 2023 planean estrenar un segundo videoclip y lanzar el LP “El Camino de la Serpiente”. Además tienen planes para visitar Europa a mediados de año y también pasar por Argentina y Brasil a fines del 2023.

Since their formation in 2010, Hellish have become a prolific force on the blackened thrash scene. With a discography to date totaling two albums, three EPs, four demos, a couple compilations, a split, and a single, this Chilean quartet have been nothing but dedicated to their evil cause over the past decade-plus. During that cursed year of 2020, longtime vocalist/bassist Necromancer departed the band, but in came Christopher Aravena as his replacement, and Hellish sounded more invigorated than ever on last year’s The Vermis Mysteriis EP.

RISING ANGEL presentacion en vivo de “Sideral” en ARGENTINA

 

En Enero pasado, Rising Angel se embarcó a Buenos Aires para realizar la grabación de su primer material en vivo, como parte de las sesiones, Mural Session, del que hacen el estreno del primer extracto, con la canción, Sideral.

Tras su paso por Argentina, los chilenos estrenan en YouTube su esperado material en vivo grabado en los Estudios ION en la capital trasandina, que cuenta con tres canciones de su actual repertorio del que ya se liberaron la canción cuya versión original se encuentra incluida en su álbum debut, Un Nuevo Destino.

Acerca de esta producción la banda comenta:

“Fue una gran experiencia grabar en uno de los estudios icónicos de Argentina y de Latinoamérica, lugar en el que se produjo el programa, Encuentro en el Estudio, y que ha recibido a artistas de la talla de Charly García, Mercedes Sosa, Fito Páez, Rata Blanca, La Renga, Inti Illimani y muchos más, por lo que sin duda esta grabación marca un hito definitivo en nuestra carrera musical”. 

Rising Angel, junto con este lanzamiento, afirma que estrenará cada canción mensualmente antes de liberar su esperado mini documental, el que recoge parte de la experiencia de la banda en el país trasandino, que tiene por objetivo reflejar una parte más intimista y lúdica de la agrupación chilena. 

Acerca de la primera canción publicada, los de Santiago señalan lo siguiente:

X-EMPIRE drops My Demons (The Price Of Blood) video

The Brazilian band X-EMPIRE, which promotes a modern, complex and hybrid mix of Prog Metal, Groove Metal, Djent and Metalcore, shares a brand-new cathartic, tense and emotional music video for their latest single "My Demons" on their YouTube channel, addressing the troubling and current issue of the daily struggle against depression, suicide, drug addiction, and other psychological illnesses.

The lyric theme of "My Demons" is a metaphor against all kinds of wars, also including the daily battle against the inner demons that haunt a great part of humanity.

Michel Villares, singer, producer and also responsible for the lyrics of "My Demons", was initially influenced by the conflict in Ukraine and Russia, creating an anti-war theme trying, in some way, to show solidarity with the people of these countries, but as the theme developed other forms of war were being addressed.
